Applications for our 2021 charity places are now open! Click on ‘Apply now’ and select ‘I would like Guide Dogs to organise a place for me’ to make your application. For our charity places there is a £100 registration fee (payable only if your application is successful) and a £2000 minimum fundraising target.

If you have your own place in the ballot we'd love to have you join us! Simply click ‘Apply now' and select ‘I have organised my own place’ to join our team.

Thank you for your interest in running the Virgin Money London Marathon 2021 for Guide Dogs! Whether you are applying for one of our charity places, or using your own place in the ballot we're delighted you want to be part of the team changing lives for people with sight loss.

  • The opportunity to visit your nearest Guide Dogs Training School to meet some of our life-changing dogs

  • A bespoke training plan and dedicated support from our Events Team in the lead up to race day.

  • A post-race afterparty complete with sports massage, food, refreshments and the chance to meet some of our guide dog puppies in training*
